The Berlin Offensive returns as a monthly showcase, featuring Berlin’s darkest comedians; it’s a show for people who believe that the only good baby joke is a dead baby joke. And will kick off this season with a special big premiere! That’s right, instead of horrifying some of you we will make jokes about everything from necrophilia to dead babies – and possibly combine the two – in front of an entire theatre!
Featuring A FREE SHOT (or more!) and the comedic stylings of:
Nir Gottleid (IL), an Israeli comic who has performed in the US, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Israel. He has come to Germany to, as he says, “make Germans feel uncomfortable as a form of reparations”; he would prefer to date Germans to achieve his goal, but sadly German women have intelligence, common sense, and eyes — therefore he’s forced to do comedy instead. His combination of dark humor, self-deprecation, and obscene “dad jokes” will leave him in stitches, because you are very likely to stab him after his set.
Chris Doering (GDR), a former Kabarettist and current stand-up comedian. Chris enjoys long walks on the beach, a good Nazi joke followed by a fart joke, headlining international comedy shows in Germany, Czech Republic, UK, Netherlands, Hungary, Mexico, Austria, Poland and running comedy shows in Berlin, like Laughing Bearlin, The Berlin Offensive, Director’s Cut, Berlin for Dummies and Laughing Spree Comedy.
Francesco Kirchhoff is one of the hardest-gigging comedians of the Berlin scene and a constant fixture of most shows here, freshly returned from a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His comedy explores extremes and self-serving absurdities with rapid-fire punchlines—ok, it’s mostly jokes about Nazis.
Tyrone Stallone (US) is an American comedian, writer, actor, and music producer. A natural entertainer, Ty began performing at a young age in shopping malls and at school. He never wanted to do stand up comedy, and only attended a class because he had a crush on the instructor. His comedy is irreverent and delightfully outrageous. A mix of story-telling and observations about his travels, American culture and self-improvement.
For many years, the only stages Freddi Gralle (DE) spent much time on were those in church. Now she is doing comedy – so being judgmental comes in handy.
Her dazzling sense of self-entitlement guides her to tackle the existential questions in life: God, sex or the upsides of PMS. Freddi’s voice is life-affirming but sarcastic, with a strong preference for the auto-biographic.
