The Berlin Offensive is a non-stop cavalcade of offensive humor, holocaust jokes, and vivid discussions of necrophilia. Three comics will take to the stage to discuss such wide ranging topics from pediatric cancer to why Germans love asparagus so much.
All those jokes that you secretly wanted to hear but should not have been uttered in polite company? Here they come.
Featuring A FREE SHOT (or more!) and the comedic stylings of:
The evening’s headliner is our very own Chris Doering (DDR), a former Kabarettist and current stand-up comedian. Chris enjoys long walks on the beach, a good Nazi joke followed by a fart joke, opening for Anthony Jeselnik, headlining international comedy shows in Germany, Czech Republic, UK, Netherlands, Hungary, Mexico, Austria, Poland and running comedy shows in Berlin, like Laughing Bearlin, The Berlin Offensive and Laughing Spree Comedy.
Perry Philippaios (UK) has been a mainstay of the Berlin comedy scene for the last three years. Half hare-brained philosopher, half opinionated troglodyte and possessing a unique style, he will have you laughing and wondering what the hell he is talking about! OK, mainly wondering what the hell he is talking about, but you’ll laugh too—and won’t regret having seen his high energy rantings at least once.
Carl H. Dackö (SE) is a 180 cm tall, bearded Swedish stand-up comedian, doing jokes, bits, observations and faces on the Berlin comedy scene.
Carl’s comedy is mostly about his relationships and the behavior of humans and animals around him. This can sometimes go to dark places, but in a friendly happy way 🙂
Purdy Holsom (US) is a musical comic from NC (editor’s note: We believe this to be some biker gang or obscure state in the USA, or whatever). She’s classically trained in not giving a fuck.
The evening is hosted by Nir Gottleid (IL), an Israeli comic who has performed in the US, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Israel. He has come to Germany to, as he says, “make Germans feel uncomfortable as a form of reparations”; he would prefer to date Germans to achieve his goal, but sadly German women have intelligence, common sense, and eyes — therefore he’s forced to do comedy instead. His combination of dark humor, self-deprecation, and obscene “dad jokes” will leave him in stitches, because you are very likely to stab him after his set.
