The Berlin Offensive returns as a monthly showcase, featuring Berlin’s darkest comedians; it’s a show for people who believe that the only good baby joke is a dead baby joke.
Featuring A FREE SHOT (or more!) and the comedic stylings of:
Headlining the evening, Erika Ratcliffe (AT) is a Japanese-Austrian comedian and has performed standup all over Germany and Austria. She has a dark sense of humour and doesn’t shy away from controversial topics like racism or vaginal yeast infections. Her comedy is very self-deprecating and shows a lot of empathy for the underdogs in our society. Erika starred in the first season of “Comedy Central presents: Stand-Up”.
Fabian Barahmeh (PS) draws audiences in with his suave, dry-as-the-desert delivery and sly, friendly smile—only to then surprise with dark, twisted punchlines out of left field that leave you in stitches.
Scott Reynolds (CA) was born and raised in Toronto, and moved to Germany in 2013 to pursue graduate studies in classical music. He began performing comedy in the summer of 2018, and quickly began winning over audiences by drawing on his unique perspective as a white, straight male with a middle-class suburban upbringing.
Hosting the evening will be Nir Gottleid (IL), an Israeli comic who has performed in the US, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Israel. He has come to Germany to, as he says, “make Germans feel uncomfortable as a form of reparations”; he would prefer to date Germans to achieve his goal, but sadly German women have intelligence, common sense, and eyes — therefore he’s forced to do comedy instead. His combination of dark humor, self-deprecation, and obscene “dad jokes” will leave him in stitches, because you are very likely to stab him after his set.
